UUPG's - Unreached, Unengaged People Groups
Unreached People Groups: According to the Joshua Project website, there are approximately 7,400 of these on earth. Unreached People groups have only about 2 out of every 1000 people who follow Jesus. They do not have enough resources or followers of Jesus to share the gospel with their own people.
Unengaged People Groups: These are unreached people groups with no active church planting happening. There are about 3.050 of these which is about 278 million people. Part of the reason for this may be that these people don't have any part of the Bible in their native language. (https://blog.eastwest.org/what-are-unengaged-unreached-people-groups)
Frontier People Groups: According to the Joshua Project, there are almost 5,000, close to 2 Billion of these people on earth. Only 1 out of every 1000 people in these groups are Christian and they have almost no chance of hearing about Jesus from their own people.
